    Rich,

But I thought it was George Bush’s failed Middle East Policy that brought us to the Brink of Madness?

This guy Victor Davis Hansen seems to want to blame the crime on the criminal. Doesn’t he realize that we should be looking at what the victim did to cause the crime to be committed.

I want to give a shout out to my friends, Lee Hinde, Tim Hall, and John Steele.

    Thoughts?

  • DeWitt says:

Rich, as you are getting older, like Reader’s Digest, you are suffering from hardening of the articles.

Here’s Iraq before we invaded: a nasty dictatorship which, on all available evidence, excluded both Shiite and Sunni terrorists.

Here’s Iraq after we invaded: an academy for training both Shiite and Sunni terrorists, inspiration for jihadists, racked by civil war and gangs of thugs.

And remember we ended up in Iraq because of a series of lies^h^h^h^h faulty intelligence.

Now, having created a further mess, Hansen says if we leave it is the moral equivalent of Neville Chamberlain? Please.

Was that Clinton’s lies, Gore’s lies, or Kerry’s lies you are referring to? :-)
